A learning journey with heart, hands and emotions
The 113-2 semester teacher professional community visited the #LiLiJuTaomijuTaomiju Organic Bookstore in Puli Township, Nantou County on April 25 (Friday), and embarked on an in-depth cultural experience that combines "circular economy" and "local revitalization." 🍃
This old house, which was restored by Chen Guoming, an adjunct assistant professor at the Department of Tourism and Hospitality at National Chi Nan University, has now been transformed into an educational base that carries local culture. Here, we experienced coffee roasting with our own hands, smelled the aroma of the beans, listened to the stories, and deeply felt the warmth and power of the interweaving of traditional skills and the memory of the land.
🍽️ Eating together | The dining table in the yard
We sat around a table next to the old wooden house, sharing not only the delicious local ingredients, but also the stories from the land and each other's laughter, which made us feel warm.
📖 The used book lending program allows books to have a new lease of life and allows us to reflect on how knowledge can initiate more creativity and connections in the circulation and become a bridge between local areas and education.
✨ This visit is not just a visit, but also a process of spiritual recharge. The power of local revitalization reminds us that innovation happens not only in classrooms, but also in fields and streets. I look forward to bringing more inspiration and actions back to campus in the future and realizing more possibilities with students! 💡
