The 23rd Annual New Venture Awards 🏆✨
In order to create a quality entrepreneurial environment and shape Taiwan into an entrepreneurial society, the Department of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and New Ventures of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) organises the ‘#New Venture Award’ to encourage innovative and new ventures in various industries to develop new ventures with a quality business model, to set a successful example, to boost the spirit of entrepreneurship, and to stimulate the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in the country, so as to inject new water into the economy.
🙋♀️ Eligibility: Enterprises established on or after 1 June 105 (inclusive) according to the date of establishment approved by the Commercial and Industrial Registration Office of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (not the date of the last approved change), and meeting the criteria for SME recognition.
❗️ Enterprises that are branches of foreign companies established in Taiwan are not eligible to participate in the election.
🙋 Candidate: Enterprises that have commercialised or mass-produced innovative products, technologies, processes, or services (including technical services, knowledge services, and business services) that they have developed in-house.
🌱 Business performance: Positive turnover in the previous year (112 years); if not, the company must provide relevant documents (e.g., invoices, commercial contracts, transaction orders, etc.) to prove the commercialisation or mass production of the major products or services.
⭐️ The Award is divided into three categories, namely ‘Technology Industry Group’, ‘Innovation and Communication Group’ and ‘Innovation and Service Group’, and the principle is to select 20 start-ups with quality business models.
❗️ Participating companies are free to choose one of the three categories and cannot change the category after the application is completed. Please refer to the Application Guidelines for the industry classification of the three categories.
📆Registration period: 1 April (Mon) 10:00 to 31 May (Fri) 17:00
📨Method of application: All applications and receipts will be made online.
