The National Innovation Award (NIA) is the highest index award in the field of biomedicine and healthcare in China, of which the ‘Research Innovation Award’ is the key field for academic and research teams to show their innovative breakthroughs. This year, applications for innovative technologies and R&D results are open for seven categories:👇
(1) Intelligent Medical and Health Technology
(2) Biopharmaceuticals and Precision Medicine
(3) Innovative Medical Materials and Diagnostic Technologies
(4) Agriculture and Food Biotechnology
(5) Specialised Materials and Applied Biotechnology
(6) Environmental Technology and Energy Applications

The ‘National Innovation Award’ is jointly selected and recommended by 90 medical authorities, research leaders, government officials, and experts in industrial technology and investment evaluation, to guide product development and market paths. The past award-winning teams not only serve as the first stop for industries seeking research and development, licensing, and investment targets, but also create the largest Demo Day in Asia-Pacific over the past few years, which has been the highest honour for new innovation teams to strive for and attract the attention of the international arena! 🤩
With the abundant R&D capacity from medical and academic institutions, the National New Venture Award will provide guidance on technology commercialisation strategies for the participating teams, continue to organise the InnoZone International Roadshow, and help to link key resources such as venture capital, clinical development, legal and financial services, finance and tax, and international market, to stimulate and accelerate innovation and entrepreneurship and drive new stars in the industry! 🌟
